French school holidays 2026-2027 in the Vercors
The 2026-2027 French school holiday dates, and what to do in the Vercors in each period.
Lyon and Grenoble are in zone A
For the winter and spring holidays, the three zones break up on different dates. The autumn, Christmas and summer holidays are the same for everyone.
For families, there are four bedrooms, bunk beds, two travel cots, a high chair, and sledging at the bottom of the garden. See the chalet for families.

February: skiing
In February 2027, the three zones follow one another from 6 February to 8 March. Cross-country skiing at Herbouilly, downhill at Villard-Corrençon, sledging at the bottom of the garden. See the chalet for a ski week.
At Christmas, the chalet is decorated for the festive season: Christmas and New Year at the chalet.
Autumn half-term and spring
Around All Saints' Day the forests on the plateau change colour: the rules for picking mushrooms. In spring the snow melts and the trails reopen: Easter and spring at the chalet.
On rainy days, there's the Choranche cave and the Draye Blanche cave (opening times on drayeblanche.fr).
Walks and village fêtes
Walks near the village, the Bourne gorges, canyoning and via corda with a guide. See summer and village fêtes.
When are the 2027 winter holidays for Lyon and Grenoble?
Zone A: 13 February to 1 March 2027.
And for Paris?
Zone C: 6 to 22 February 2027.
